Refund policy
At Couture by Saarika Gupta, every outfit is meticulously designed and crafted only after an order is placed. Since we operate on a made-to-order and made-to-measure basis, our policies are structured to ensure both transparency and fairness, keeping in mind the exclusivity and personalization that our clients expect from a couture brand.
Made-to-Order Commitment
All products listed on our website are created only after the order is confirmed. Each design is made to your exact measurements, specifications, and preferences. As a result, once an order is placed, it is non-refundable, non-returnable, and cannot be resold. This commitment ensures that every garment is unique to you, crafted with precision, and made exclusively for you.
Returns
We do not accept returns on any products once the order is confirmed. This policy exists because each outfit is custom-made specifically for the client. Every piece is uniquely produced based on personal measurements, designs, and craftsmanship. Due to this level of personalization, we cannot accept returns once an order enters production. We ask our clients to ensure their selections, sizes, and preferences are correct before confirming an order.
Exchanges – Only in Exceptional Cases
Exchanges are only accepted under very specific circumstances, including:
- Manufacturing defects.
- Incorrect product delivered.
- Significant damage during transit.
To qualify for an exchange, the issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, and the product must be returned in its unused, unwashed condition with the original tags intact. It is mandatory to provide an unboxing video as evidence of the issue. The product must also be in its original packaging. Please note that exchanges are allowed only once per order.
If the exchange is approved, it will be for:
- The same product, or
- Another product of equal value (subject to availability).
Not Considered Defects
There are certain circumstances that do not qualify for a return or exchange. These include:
- Minor color variations that may occur due to differences in screen resolution or lighting during photography.
- Slight variations in embroidery or finish due to the handcrafted nature of the garments.
- Size or fit issues that result from the customer providing inaccurate measurements.
- Change of mind after the order has been confirmed.
We highly encourage our clients to ensure that their measurements and specifications are accurate before placing an order to avoid such issues.
Refunds
We do not provide refunds on made-to-order or customized items. In rare and exceptional cases, if a refund is approved, it will be provided as store credit only. This is done at the discretion of our team and in accordance with our policies.
Customization & Sizing Responsibility
Clients are responsible for providing accurate measurements and customization details when placing an order. We work with you to ensure your garment fits perfectly, but Couture by Saarika Gupta is not liable for any issues related to sizing or fit that arise from incorrect information provided by the customer. We strongly recommend double-checking all measurements before submitting them.
Order Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement. After 24 hours, the order goes into production, and cancellation is not permitted. This policy ensures that we can begin crafting your custom piece promptly and without delay.
